However research released this morning from Property Solvers has shown that the most appealing feature of a property is in fact its proximity to a Waitrose store.

Recently voted as the UK's Best Supermarket by Which, Waitrose are widely recognised as being one of the UK's premium, high quality brands, and as such close proximity to a store is likely to come at a premium. 

Taken from a sample of almost 25,000 properties within a 1/4 mile from a Waitrose store, the research showed that the average price of a property within this distance was £469,933, almost 107% higher than the UK national average price of £227,000.
